Allow me to offer my own ending, because I doubt this is ever going to get any better.
The police find Yule and arrest him for kidnapping and rape. They take Kyung soo to the hospital and have him guarded by the police as he sleeps. When he wakes up, Dong Hyuk (convenience store guy) is sitting by his bed. He had called the police as soon as he could, but they couldn't find him until now. He takes Kyung soo's hand and squeezes it, apologizing for not taking him away from that nightmare sooner. but he checked in with the police every day.
He got a good job and saved every cent he made, so that he could get his own place, and Kyung soo is welcome to come live with him. When the police come to take his statement, they are able to charge Geon with rape as well, and the sister for kidnapping.
The three are found guilty of all charges and put away. The trial was all over the news, and Kyung soo hates it. He's recognized almost everywhere. Dong Hyuk sells their place and they move to a small apartment in a different part of the country where it wasn't broadcast. The place is cramped and uncomfortable, but they're happier than they were.
Kyung soo still gets nightmares sometimes. that Yule comes back and kills Dong Hyuk. Takes him back to that hell-hole room and rapes him again. sometimes, Kyung soo wakes up screaming and covered in sweat. Dong Hyuk just holds him until he calms down, and he holds his hand until he falls back asleep.
After a few years, they can afford to move into a bigger place. But they still prefer to share a small futon, because a double bed is too big for them. Kyung soo's nightmares stop for the most part. He still sometimes wakes up afraid it was all a dream, but seeing Dong Hyuk's face always reassures him.
Dong Hyuk still wants to do more to erase what Yule did to Kyung soo, but he doesn't rush him. He just waits patiently for him to be ready. Eventually he is, and neither of them has ever been happier. their domestic life together is very happy, and Kyung soo is healed more every day.
Hope you enjoyed my version of the ending, and i wish it would go this route so much.
