It was also considered treason to use the royal "we" in conversations. And it wasn't the royalty that used it. It was specifically the King/Emperor who used it. No one else. Not even the Queen was allowed to use the royal "we".
Why does the king refers to himself as 'we'/'us'/'our'? For a moment here, I considered the idea of him having a twin brother just like the two brothers at first chapter. Or is this some sort of ancient speech? Can someone help me here? (￣∇￣")
