Did anyone else think that the way Kou reacted when he saw Hiroya fighting with his ex? Like, homeboy just walked right on past, glaring and bitching about how loud it was, then slammed his door, then opened his door again 20 seconds later in order to yell at the ex and get him to leave. Like, boy, why didn't you just call out in the ex in the first place? (⌒▽⌒)

No, Kou handled it perfectly. If he had targeted the ex, the ex would have had more fuel to keep an argument going. Kou also didn't know how his neighbor felt about him. If he acted like it was his place to protect his neighbor and the neighbor didn't like him, he could have gotten a refusal without ever having had the chance to confess. Kou dealt with the situation the same way any neighbor would act when faced with two men fighting outside their apartment. Then, when tensions were reduced, he comforted the guy he liked and cleared the air in private. He wanted the argument to end and the ex to leave. Being overly attentive to his neighbor in front of the ex would have made the argument worse by drawing Kou into the fight and/or given the ex reason to come back later and cause more trouble. This way, the ex isn't jealous and the ex knows that his former partner has neighbors who will report him if he tries to return. The neighbor, whose name escapes me, may have felt a bit embarrassed and apprehensive for a moment, but Kou cleared the air right away by comforting him after the ex was gone. Kou handled it very maturely.

I think he handled it well too. He was trying not to be jealous thats why he went inside his house. But then he couldnt handle the jealousy so he ended up chasing the guy away. If anything i thought its cute. Lol
