It might have been a 1-2 chapters oneshot(part of a collection). The story starts with the Girl confessing to the guy she likes & the guy rejecting her with the excuse that, he doesn't really know her as a person(as they are in separate class OR not friends with her, I guess? But I am not sure which one), so he can't go out with her. The girl is obviously mortified, BUT gets even more FRUSTRATED when she finds out that they are in the SAME school festival committee & they have to work together until the festival is over. To ease the awkwardness between them the girl says, that she'll forget about the confession & the boy should do so too, so that they can get along & work well. Slowly, the boy starts noticing how nice the girl is & falls for her. He also gets jealous over this guy who helps the girl. During the last day of festival (the bonfire night) the boy confesses to the girl & happy ending. I remember the girl misunderstanding something near the end & running along the school corridor when the lights suddenly goes off & the guy finding her & confessing there. (I think the school had this weird rumor that whoever confesses during the bonfire get their love requited but then again I am not sure about this bit.)
