For the end I kind of hoped for Eric's and Shells relationship to be approved by the society and them ending up married and not living in secret. Also the killing pheromone was created by a vampire and a human art so it's 50/50 faulty for both races so Eric didn't really needed to take all the blame.

    I agree with you, I was somewhat angry about the ending but still a great storie none the less
