Lezhin Issues

They are being greedy! I hate it when people are greedy with money. They should be happy there manhwa gotten this popular and if it weren't for mangago I wouldn't know about manhwa at all. Before I started reading them I didn't even know about manhwa.

Somehow I think demanding to be able to read paid comics for free is a lot greedier than artists and publishers expecting to be paid for their labor.

Think of it as the difference between licensed (in English) and unlicensed manga. Many scanlation groups, especially those who focus on BL, don't touch licensed manga. That's because the English licensing companies go after the groups that do. Lezhin did exactly that with any scanlation groups that were translating the Korean raws into English if there was an official English release.

What happened then was that people started ripping the images directly from the Lezhin official English releases and posting them here, complete with the copyright warning. I saw several titles drop significantly in the sales rankings on Lezhin after the ripped versions showed up here.

So yeah, Lezhin wasn't gonna allow this site to continue to make a dent in their sales. Whoever said it above is right, if you aren't paying for it, Lezhin doesn't give two shits about losing you as a 'fan'.

I share my Lezhin account with close friends and we pitch in money when we can, buy what we want, get coins when they're on sale, use the coin-back sales to make coins pay for two chapters instead of one, stuff like that.

Stop making excuse like this.. they decided to take down their manhwas from mangago.. There's nothing we can do about it. What we're doing here is wrong.. I mean just stop complaining and stop blaming the authors for this.

Are you kidding me? Do you know what you sound like? Drawing comics or manhwas are the JOB of many of the Lezhin artists. It’s like asking people to work for you for free. YOU are the one being greedy as well as an ignorant asshole. These artists NEED to earn money, how the fuck are they going to pay fees and survive? You can’t be stupid enough to tell me that these artists don’t deserve compensation for the amount of TIME and EFFORT they put into their works. I hate this stupid misconceptions people have that art should be free. Please go find some integrity.

I understand that but a lot of people like myself are not able to pay for a reason and I can't have a job because I have many problems and still live with my parents so they take care of me and I don't want my family to know I like Yaoi so I don't want to ask them if they can buy the chapters for me, I have anxiety and other problems so I get upset at everything it's not my fault. I can't be near people or my anxiety acts up, I can only be around my Mom and that's it. People can walk past me but not if they try to talk to me I freak out and hide, I have a bad anxiety and nervous problem around people and I really wish I didn't have all these problems but I was born with them so my life sucks.

I wish I was a normal person who could get a job but sadly that didn't happen for me, I will never be a normal person.

I have anxiety problems too that make it difficult for me to get a job or even go outside of my room some days. I seriously have not talked to a single person in 2 weeks. However I will not use my anxiety as an excuse for why the world should be free for me. Anxiety is not a terminal disorder, you can get help (depending on where you live there might be free moulding through your community and there's self/tips available online). My life sucks too but I'm not going to settle with living this way forever.

And I'm scared to pay online because the last time my Dad bought something online someone stole there card and buy a lot of stuff with it so buying stuff online can be dangerous, the same thing also happened to my older brother as well.

Get a disposable/rechargeable credit card. Or find a more reliable bank with theft protection.

Actually, we're in the wrong just by reading lezhin mangas from this site, and that we're the ones who need to stop doing it.
