I'm sure people will bookmark the topic containing the links so they can go back whenever it updates, or even find their way back from your profile. :)
Dropbox seems like the most convenient solution tbh, compared to opening up an IG account.

I've actually seen some people with private blogs share comics with their followers. That way it's harder for companies with copyright to reach to said blog.

Private blogs are too much hassle and there'll always be people going around reporting said private blogs to publishers.

Well, not for me if that's what you're implying, but for the uploader.
Setting up a private blog & managing it isn't something someone who's busy would want to go through with. Gem said they're busy with exams etc, so i doubt they'd want to go through with all that.
Dropping chapters on a dropbox or something is a lot more convenient and time-efficient.
