I haven't used an MP3 player in years. When you connected it to your laptop using the USB cord, did you check in File Explorer if it showed up? In the past, all I did was drag music into the folder inside the MP3 player.

no it does not show up...my laptop is old u know... i read at the internet it says it will show up but i does not so maybe because my laptop is old...

Do you know what brand the mp3 player is? Normally you're right when you put the usb from the player to your computer it should pop up and offer you a way to get the software. Since it's not you'll need to probably google the type of mp3 player and manually download their software then open it from their player on your laptop. Hope that helps!

Sounds like an ipod, one of the older ones. Shuffle maybe? If that's the case then you are in luck and simply need to download the apple ap iTunes and open that to see whats on your new toy! :)

Based on the name, it has an SD card slot. Did the MP3 player come with a free card? I understand if your laptop is old, it might not have its own SD card slot, but I think that might be the way to download music. You need a device or something that has that slot, take the SD card out of the MP3 player, and insert it in there. The SD card itself should pop up, and then you can drag music files in it.

Okay, I looked at the product in the Lazada website, and it actually does not come with one. That's where the problem is. Without an SD card inside the MP3 player, it cannot hold any music because there's no place to store it. The player does not have an internal memory like a phone does, it looks like. That means that you will have to purchase an SD card if you want to use it. I'm not sure if it means that plugging the USB will get it to work though.

Yeah, maybe the problem is the SD card because if it's new, it shouldn't be acting that way. If there's any part that's because or something, definitely contact the seller to ask for a refund. It's unfair that the buyer has to deal with these things.
