When it gets too fast, people complain, when it gets too slow people complain. Stop comparing Yaoi to Shoujo. They're two different kinds of romance. And drama has nothing to do with Yaoi or Shoujo, some shoujo have less drama, some yaoi has more drama. What you just said, is like you are mocking all shoujo mangas. Stop it already.
I like fluff. That's my preference. I don't think the MCs should have to run around in circles just to get into a relationship. Take Honto Yajuu for example, a long manga with 23 chapters. It is one of my all time fav yaois. The story has drama and has suspense, but they don't beat around the bush to get into a relationship. They establish one and build the story from that point. I'm not saying I dislike Shojo. If I did I wouldn't still be reading this manga or Kamisama Hajimemashita or Shirayuki. I would like the MCs to be more open about their feelings for one another, and then build the drama, otherwise it just causes unnecessary frustration for the reader.
I hope you can explain better next time. Careful with your choice of words cuz when you said "I wish it was like yaoi", it was like you are mocking the genre of Shoujo. And I'd like to make it clear that I was a tiny bit offended when you said "otherwise it just causes unnecessary frustration for the reader" because authors have to crack themselves up to make a plot and translators have it rough to just send this manga to you so instead you could have used something other than "unnecessary".
(Yes I was picking a fight but I'm not that mad, there are many people with different
preference which is why fights occur but the point is that you shouldn't compare it to something else with such light words because it is not easy to draw a manga and last long enough)
