I dont know what comments are you refering to. But to me is a sympthom of freedom when someone can express their opinion in a polite way even if that opinion if against your tastes. If you feel bad for that then you are not used to be in a freespech envioronment. It said that people who have became adult in the 2010s is offended easiely and not admit opinions very well.
