I think he needed it for tuition fees but since it's near the mid to end of his final year (thus the career papers and talking about the art club guy as a first year) so he perhaps doesn't need to pay off the money anymore since he is finishing school but hot roped into it by scary yakuza-like classmate/"customers" or a feeling of helplessness idk but yeah it's weird he needed money so direly to go so far as selling his body but then just decide to stop. Perhaps he just has given up and just wants to stop--or his last year is ending and he doesn't have to do it anymore. Idk it's weird logic in this manga

No one easily decides to prostitute themselves, and from what is known in the first two chapters, I don't know from where you've drawn that conclusion. I skimmed through the raws and I can tell you what I think happened, but it's not 100 % since I only know a little Japanese and mostly got the meaning from pictures LOL
So why was the uke prostituting himself again???
