For the omegaverse fans out there

How did you get into omegaverse? What was your reactions? What is your first omegaverse? Feel free to add anything else.

I was surfing ♀ on mangago for some manga, I wasn’t going for anything particular and was just reading through a whole bunch of manga until I came to a manga that had such a weird opening, like there was the alpha, beta, and omega signs and something about men having two different types of private parts, one type can get pregnant and at that point I was like: waaat? (Sorry, I do not remember the name, it was quite a while ago) So I read it and within five pages there was a massive rape and within the next chapter the omega had an abortion. So yeah, it wasn’t a good start for me and I steer clear of omegaverse. BUT then I found http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/abarenbo_honey/ and then http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/kashikomarimashita_destiny/ and yeah I kind of like omegaverse since but still some creeps me out,

My first omegaverse was immoral sandwich. Well I was already like, "Nothing surprises me in mangago" so I just read (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 I'm not that great fan cause I think yaoi are better plotwise.

This is the first omegaverseI read ( http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/romantic_joutou/) and in it an omega was obsessed with finding a rich, handsome alpha to be paired with, but in the mean time he was using a beta friend to get him through his heats. In the beginning, I actually took it all extremely well, whether it was the male pregnancy, the heats, the genders, all of it. It wasn't until a few chapters in when the omega was basically raped by an alpha that I hesitated. I hate rape in any manga, but when it comes to omegaverse, it seems more common and even expected. Omegas always seem to be slut shamed and hated, even as they are being raped, and this has caused me to shy away from reading most omegaverse. But I actually enjoy the concept, because at least in omegaverse men can be with men, even get married, and have children, all things that other couples don't get in regular yaoi. Some of my favorite mangas are actually omegaverse, and I recommend them: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/kashikomarimashita_destiny/

I agree, some of them are. Most omegaverse are too rapey and have such a large focus on making the omega miserable. But the rare gems of omegaverse are actually very good too.

I find the omegaverse theory very interesting too!!! Took me a while to get use to it but like you said, it gives opportunity to couples that regular yaoi doesn’t.

Omegaverse took me awhile to get into. Now I like it, but before I’d avoid it and skip over any that involved it. They’ve just grown on me over time.
I can’t remember my first omegaverse, I do remember just not being into it at all. I don’t think I got past the pages that explain what an omegaverse is lol. But the first one I actually liked was Tadaima Okaeri, which barely counts as an omegaverse lol.
It took my probably over a year after I started reading yaoi to get into it. But now I like them and have no problem reading any

I love omegaverse but I have such a hard time finding ones that don't have any rape in them. The fact that the alphas feel entitled to the omegas body is just something I can't get down with.

This one is super cute and it also concentrates on bl parenting which I absolutely love. If anyone has anymore recommendations I'd love to check them out

Bro I really want new omegaverse mangas but I already finished a whole list of omegaverse mangas to be found in mangago.. I feel so sad, wish there was more..

I personally like omegeverse for their dominative concept. I like the idea of omega and alpha pairing where both of them are attracted to each other sexually by chemistry. I don't really care about the pregnancy though. I would say it's kinda my kink and my masochism might contribute to it too

Whoa! The whole list??? Lol, I haven’t done that. You’re just gonna have to wait until some authors and artists get creative again and creates more.

I like alpha/omega too but I also like beta/omega (because then they don’t focus on the fated concept but the fated concept keeps imposing them), beta/beta (they are almost like a normal couple, except in some, pregnancy is a hard thing), alpha/beta (not following the fated concept), alpha/alpha (domination, lol, although there isn’t many out there), omega/alpha or beta (domination, there’s only a few out there) and omega/omega (this one is even rarer).
Well I guess I like all of the pairings, lol.

Well, there's an omegaverse manga named kurui naku no wa boku no ban. It's not really fluffy at first but the ending and after is pretty good and super sexy (≧∀≦).

That is on my to read list for a while now, the reason why I haven’t read it is because it is too alike other omegaverse and I hate predictable plot. One day I will read!
