Don't know why the authors depict Middle-Eastern characters with blonde hair and white skin. Surely, they can't be that ignorant of other countries and race.

well, johan isn't from the middle east bc he traveled there from far away, remember. also, i'm not sure if this is why, but i think it's harder to ink someone's skin than their hair (not sure tho).
