I asked this before but i didn't get a reply, what is isekai?
I asked google and it said something like transportation in another reality or reincarnation. Not sure if that's what it means tho.

It literally means another world. So, now the reincarnation/transported to another world plot is becoming very very popular in novels - which then adapted to mangas - and unfortunately often overused. If you go to novelupdates, you will be surprised to see that majority of the novels are isekai novels... well, many of them are worth reading so I don't mind..
What's with the bombardment of sekai mangas updates today??? Not that I'm complaining.... such a nice surprise.... (づ￣ ³￣)づ
