I've been thinking the same thing about manhwa especially if they're from lezhlin. I think I'll stick to manga and if I really love it then I can just support the author by buying the original. I don't have to experience the same sh*t every time someone feels like being a self-righteous a-hole pretending to support the authors/artists.

I have lots of conspiracy theory going on in my mind but I won't waste time on them anymore. Since almost everyone started off with manga then my suggestion is let us support the manga world instead since most of what we have here are manga anyways. I want to work harder to be able to earn enough to support my favorite manga authors someday.

I would like to buy works that I am sure is really worth it (since I have a limited budget) and the only way for that is if I get to read them first in English even if they have been illegally translated. So thank you, scanlators. Let us support our favorite mangaka.

By the way, I don't have anything against Korean or Chinese authors but this mess all started with manhwas and manhuas so I will just avoid them with all my might. Good luck to them though. Let us continue to support whoever we want after all.

Its because Japanese mangakas have a lot of support and money to be able to make their mangas into physical copies. Most Chinese and Korean authors don’t have that luxury. Mangas are mostly supposed to be in book form. And so if mangas were to be accessible online and be bought only online people would give you shit. And what we are still doing is illegal. Reading mangas on this website is illegal as well, so what im saying is what you do will ALWAYS be illegal so just read whatever you want. People on this website are self righteous assholes. If you are going to read mangas illegaly might as well do the same to manhwas and manhuas right?

Since I never join in any thread about buying the manhwa or stop reading it” topic, I’ll give me two cents every time this kind of drama happened.

First off, stop posting manhwa like this here, then, if you’re so opposed of everyone reading this, first anon. I’m sad that you’ve never like any story before to the point that once you elect hanging half hanging, the disappointment that follows. I’m here to read free mangas provided, I’m not even whining so why ever the fk are you angry about? Also, I agree with everyone else when it comes to “not everyone can have the luxury to pay for manga” because trust me they’re expensive af.

I live in Japan and I have my fair share of Japanese manga myself. Compared to them, I find that Korean manhwa are more expensive even though they’re not even paperback. So excuse me if I don’t feel like paying for this. Which leads me to saying this, if you think that it’s wrong to read Manhwa here then pls, don’t read any of the mangas here as they’re illegal as well. In Japan, downloading a song online ARE ILLEGAL. So piss off. Don’t come here and try to be a keyboard warrior. Ya all can’t just defend Korean mangwa and then thinks that reading Japanese manga are ok. How about you report every single damn manga/manhwa/manhua here? I have many opinion on a lot of things that’s happening lately in this site but I never wanted to get into the drama so I stay quiet and let it happen. But the first anon really ticks me off. I hate keyboard warrior like these people. Either they’re over privilege or they’re a hypocrite. There are reason why we have scanlator and translator teams, it’s to help people who can’t read the original. Jfc I’m so done with these people. I don’t know why all the drama only evolve around the manhwa? What about the manga they’re reading now for free? Are you gonna tell me that I should report the manga that I bought in Japanese store when I saw a translated one here? Damn gurl, if I do that none of you could read from this site anymore.

These manhwa ones started this recently. Like they spend money. They feel like we all need go do the same since they did it and bought them. If this goes on.we won't be able to read any of the books here from Korea and China. I was happy when only manga existed. Didn't have so much issues

Sweaty I never join this shit too for the same reasons, but I can't help but feel bad for SFS and i just had to say something. I rarely argue with anyone online because shit like this starts happening where people call you "keyboard warrior" or "righteous people" and so on (like I rarely talk online how am i a keyboard warrior lmao) . They're worried about getting reported and then soon not being able to upload any kinds of manwha at all, in fact they were already reported to mr. blue once. I admit the first anon comment was a bit overboard but it's just frustrating to see the scanlators so upset. I get we all read literature without paying to the original artist at time, but seeing as the situation was really boiling up, seeing people continue to share the uploads even though all the drama happened was too much.

But tbh I'm just gonna keep my ass to the side next time and watch this shit go down cuz regardless on what side you're on you're gonna get shit for it.
