i dont know but i think you missing the point. it is clearly said that vampires aged faster physically and mentally specially when they drunk humans blood. he drunk his blood and it made it grew up faster physically and mentally since vampires are intelligeny creatures. vampires age doesn't depend on time like humans. :D
It's supernatural world, with it's own set of rules. Personally if I was in this world I'd be sure that he's both mentally and physically an adult.
