not quite sure whether it was shounen ai or shoujo but looking for this manga wherein the heroine falls in love with a guy who's considered a prince in school. however, she then notices that the prince has his eyes on someone and that someone is none other than his very own bestfriend (yes!! the prince's bestfriend). the heroine confronts the prince and he tells her she is right. she continues to like him and the prince decided to reward her by giving her a gift.
p.s. this involved a musical instrument which i forgot teehee
