I'd say the software doesn't really matter that much. Some people can make great drawings on MS Paint, some can only work in Photoshop. If you want to use a professional program, I recommend trying a bunch until you find one to your liking.
I personally prefer Clip Studio Paint, though SAI is really popular too.
Krita is a well-known free software, but I haven't tried it personally.

I’ve been thinking about getting a drawing tablet,-do you know which one your getting?
Well, I've had my eye on one...its one of the Wacom ones, I honestly can't think of the name right now, but its for beginners and its one the of cheapest they have. I figure it would hurt to get this one to start, just on case something happens or I don't like it.

Okay, so I've been wanting to get an art/drawing tablet (idk what you guys call them). I was wondering if the style of tablet or the specific art program mattered more to make good art. What do you guys think? What would be better to spend more money on? Thanks!
