Kind of an exaggeration...

...when the author introduced the patients. I’ve checked myself into a psychiatric facility before to deal with my psychosis episodes (nothing crazy, sometimes objects or people would suddenly look too tiny or gigantic and it fucked with my control), and usually the other folks would either be too shy/quiet or too loud/pushy/aggressive. The animal noises and stuff might be going overboard but otherwise the story looks pretty good!

I actually thought you have Alice (or is that wonderland or some s*it?) syndrome.
    Does this sounds offending?

Yep it’s the Alice in Wonderland syndrome, and it isn’t offensive. I’ve had it since I was little and I honestly hate it. People often say they want to experience it but the episodes I get are really annoying, specially when I’ve got some responsibilities to do. Like I could be working on a report for university and suddenly my pen is the size of a Tic Tac and my laptop is the size of an elephant and I start to panic the fuck out.

Same! Might be a country difference. But everyone is on meds so people actually being like they are here is rare. Maybe one person might get triggered and burst into tears or flip a table, but that's rare and it's one person―not everyone at once.
