I think xia fu is both at the moment because in the prequel the sister took in her brothers soul and then puy into a slumber with salaman.
so when awakened this is the form with both of them.

Xia Fu (the snake) is the demon king, xia fu is not the one eyed demon nor salamans teacher. The one eye demon is a different character and so is salamans teacher.
i am confused which one is xia fu (the snake) is he the demon who has one eyes at the sequel or salman teacher and lover (but she was a girl) ╮(￣▽￣)╭
