THE thing is they can still translate it though seeing as the Anon hasn't even said they can't ? Why can't MORE THEN one group to translate a series? Also NO offense im kinda upset now because dang I really wanna read the new chapters but the anon only DOES things privately and YOU LITERALLY need TO GO and search far tto find the site shes using AND ask her/him TO read It seeing as SHE deleted one of her tumblr. Honestly I don't blame him/HER for keeping it private and wanting people to ask to read it but I don't think she can dismiss other groups from translating it. I think gayanimeyay is trying to play safe and trying not to get on anyone's bad side but I don't see a problem if people intend to release the chapters publically with their own bought scanlations. SHE might lose people who have signed up to her website Idk?
The post says that no one from The Anon ever told them to stop scanlating Koimonogatari, if you actually read the entire post:
"I apologize to readers for discontinuing my translations of Shimanami Tasogare and Koimonogatari. There is no reason to blame Hachimitsu Scans or The Anon, because no one who claims to represent either group has contacted me."
The reason gayanimeyay is discontinuing their these series is most likely because scanlators really dislike translating a manga that someone else is already working on. From my understanding, no one told them to stop. it was gayanimeyay's decision to not translate the manga anymore.
Since Koimonogatari is such a popular title, I expect that someone else will definitely publicly translate future chapters and post them for everyone. Worry not.
Well, I cannot say for this one in particular but I was working anonimously on other manga that I thought was dropped started by the Anon at that time and she contacted me directly with the subtly intention of stop me to continue with it and ask me from who I was get she had dropped it. She was very angered because someone was spreading the rumour she has dropped that and others projects, well, she said that though the most likely possibility was since she went private people assumed it like that. I felt pressured I didnt want to get in the middle of her drama and avoid troubles so I backed off. So yeah she cares if others do their projects publicity and she cares if people outside her circle uncouncious of the existence of her private blog thinks has stopped doing scans. Why? I leave it to others the interpretation.
And "no one who claims to represent either group has contacted me" yeah, well, she has her cohort taking charge of pressure in readers and sites. Im supposing here but if you upload your scans in MRM like this scanlator, and started reading their comments of comdemt he/she may have feel bad the same way I felt. There are means.

Looks like The Anon and her cabal of internet bullies won't be letting us read the ending of this series anytime soon. I guess I have to learn Japanese and read the raws themselves then, sounds more likely than us ever getting a scanlated conclusion to this series.
I for one don't feel like kissing the Anon's ass just to get a chance to join her private club eventually.
Hey, How the heck The Anon dare to ask Gayanimeyay to stop their scanlation claiming this was their project when they are a private group themselves? And the poor Gayanimeyay even apologize in their blog for that and stopped translating it. So you dont wanna do it public ok, but you dont want others to do it either?
