You're not alone. I was just about to make the same comment myself. I really liked the first story's characters and kept reading in the hope that the confusion I felt would be cleared up. Sadly, it didn't. It felt as if pages of the story were missing. Every development seemed entirely out of the blue.
I agree to you both. Itwas pretty confusing like the story is incomplete. What about Kuon's family ? What about Kuon's company ? How could a child become such a rich guy ?
