Nope. YOU'RE the selfish and naive one if you think telling someone they're going to be a parent is all roses and altruistic. It's not. If the seme HAD acted like a douchebag about it or decided that he would end his career I can 100% GUARANTEE to myself that most of you clueless people would have complained about the uke being so selfish as to put an end to the seme's career , AS HE HAD EXPRESSLY WISHED NOT TO DO. If you don't agree then you've been living under a ROCK for most of your life. Come join us in the reality that people like you so often falsely claim others are failing to live in. Thanks.
Ok we clearly have different views in this issue. I stand by my comment though. I agree being a parent is hard, specially at that age, but Miyuki didn't even have the chance to make a choice. And no, I would definitely not had shamed the uke for telling him even if he had chosen to give up his career. In the end Miyuki made the choice to have both his career and his family. Of course reality is more messy, everyone knows that but just as you shouldn't pretend to know what I have or haven't experienced in my life just because I don't agree with you, the same stands with Sawamura he shouldn't have pretended to know how Miyuki was gonna do. It wasn't fair. It's actually kind of funny how a dj of Diamond No Ace ended up sparking this discussion.
No, in this case it was entirely stupid of Sawamura because Miyuki didn't have to end his career. He would've had to give up if Miyuki was still in high school when the kid was born but in this case Miyuki was already signed to a pro baseball team so he would have obviously been able to provide for his family without having to give up his career. Sawamura didn't tell Miyuki because he didn't want to "burden" him. It's up to Miyuki whether he's burdened or not, which I'm pretty sure Miyuki wouldn't be. Maybe Miyuki would have asked Sawamura to have an abortion, but that would be more because he didn't want Sawamura to give up baseball instead of him not wanting to take responsibility. In this manga they love each other so much that they still only thought about each other even after not seeing each other for many years. So if Sawamura had told Miyuki, I'm pretty sure Miyuki would've just let Sawamura decide to give birth or not and would've stayed by his side. Sawamura just brought those years of separation on them for nothing
Why don't we just read and accept the ending.. It's not y'all guys the one make this manga.. It's the author ways to capture the heart fans to read their work.. If you have comments you can share them and it's your opinion.. Plus, everyone got their own opinion.. Let see, from what I see, everyone here are selfish.. Everyone wants the right way to make this manga more interesting, but you keep accusing everything are author fault.. Why don't y'all people make 1 new manga and put your own opinion for the rest of the storyline.. And let see, either your ways are easy to predict the ending or make the fans curious about what might happen next.. That's it.
My, view is.. Just take to the point. If this manga is real and it become your situation, it's your own way to solve the problem..
You are contradicting yourself. Why are saying people can have their own opinions and share them and then criticize them for doing so? Nobody is saying anything about the author. The original comment just said that they didn't like stories like this and I was just sharing my opinion on Sawamura's actions in the manga. I didn't say anything about the author's decision on making it this way. I actually found this manga hilarious.
Uke was thinking about how to tell he was pregnant. Then the sene raped him. Rapists don't deserve children.
It ended well and the kids were totally cute BUT I just hate stories like this. Even when it's similar stories in movies or dramas where the girl gets pregnant and decides she need to protect the father's career and leaves, it just doesn't sit right with me. I think that's selfish. You cannot possibly deny the father's right to know.
