I'm really curious about Akemi's past. I suspect that there was something going on between him and Minami but it must've gone sour. Itome may have been a rebound. Akemi did tell Touno you can date someone without being in love with them but fall in love along the way and it looked like he was speaking out of experience.
I didn't pick that up with Shiratani but good deductive skills!
I also catch that point when akemi was talking about dating
Man I just hope akemi and itome stay together because you can see they love each other ( I just hope they stop having sex with other guys in the future )

I'd say that Akemi dating Itomi without commitment has something to do with his past relationship with that sempai. Maybe he suffer back then because he said something like he where even worst than them and it were by that time when the club stopped being a photograph club. Maybe that sempai was the responsable and drag everyone in that.
