sorry. could someone explain me why that rage between blond guy and his siter?

basically their dad wanted a male heir to take his seat in the company someday, so when his wife (sister's mom) died without having given birth to a son, he decided to take the one he left in the states (blond guy). Sister heard that conversation and ever since then, she's basically been living in blond guy's shadow and is constantly looked down upon as useless in their family.
