I think this has nothing to do which country you are from. It's common to bring condom when you are a male, most of my friends have them in their wallet. They said in case of "emergency" they have to be ready and it's for protection for unwanted pregnancy and of course disease..

Idk too.. Actually me and my friends never do it except in our bedroom. There will be condoms, gel, pills or whatever in their room, but i never saw it in their pocket..
