If you want to manage your own YouTube channel, then I hope you're not the sensitive type that would get offended because of the hate comments and such.
You also need to /somehow/ make your content interesting for your viewers, and the way you comment should be fluid, not pausing every 3 seconds.
The quality should be decent, you also should record in a place full of light, not a dark room.
Make sure you have a good phone with a good camera if you wish to record that way, otherwise, buy a camera.
Otherwise, if you decide to create your own blog, then I don't know what to say. lol, I wish you the best of luck.

You can still hide your identity with blog. But if you're comfortable showing you face/voice then try youtube. There's so many youtuber you can learn from and you can monetize from the videos as well. Good luck!
I've decided to start doing one of two; A blog or YouTube. Though I am a bit shy to film... I've noticed there haven't been many of either for yaoi and I would love to do one. It wouldn't be just that though. It would be about other anime/related things as well. What would you prefer if one were to read or watch this?
