because you read through it too quickly while the rest of us had to wait every week which gave us enough time to discuss, analyse and reflect on each chapter.
But read through old comments and you´ll find enough explanations :)
(though i admit there are a few questions that never got answered and never will, this is a mystery after all)

Honestly Christina I read this in little less than 3 hours too and much of it felt unnecessary or should I say unimportant parts were given too much emphasis. I don't understand what I just read either because the characters were so extra and some parts lacked explanation. So I'm with you but I'm not rereading this. Not that I disliked but ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I got really bored reading this. 18 chapters in and I'm still waiting for the story to start! It felt really one dimensional, plain and boring. I skipped chapters to get to the point. I guess it was supposed to be this complex story with mystery but it was just dry and dull.

Dry and dull? Girl... Moritat has become my all time favorite yaoi because of the absolutely beauitful art and well thought out plot. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve re-read it already ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ The best part are the complexities of the characters. One dimensional? That’s what i would call about 85% of all the other yaoi mangas here but Moritat? No way i have never read such amazing masterpiece and the psychology in it made me shiver. so I’m really chocked by your comment. I’d really recommend you to read it again later and really look close at the details since they’re easy to miss. Besides, how often do we get BL+ mystery?

You made a good point about BL+mystery... I want to give it a chance but it feels like I'm reading/seeing the same panel over and over. I'll take your advice and revisit it when I'm ready to read it properly.

Okay, I'll give credit where credit is due. The author did try to create a complex world beyond the usual bl that are simple and cliche. However, she over complicates unimportant aspects and I feel the ending is rushed. I am a psychology major and even among the upper class I find some of the characters unrealistic and slightly lacking, but this is bl so I'm not gonna be over critical of that. It wasn't bad. I appreciate the author's attempt to create a thought provoking work of substance, but you gotta admit it has flaws that takes away from the readers enjoyment and certain scenes lacked clarity while some droned on. I just wanted to convey that just because something is not complete trash like the many manga that are out there it doesn't mean it's a gem.
