In most cases, rape in yaoi (as in other subsets of fiction) functions as a metaphor for desire. Fiction in general functions through metaphor. People who don't understand that, who can't handle it, should go back to their coloring books.

Then they try and portray Morinaga as an angel while also still having him rape. And so many readers feel bad for him. Not Souichi who was molested in the past by another guy (in Challengers) and rescued only to later be raped by said rescuer who he had trusted. And then Morinaga blames Souichi.
Damn shame because the art is so good but the characters are just..:S

I haven't read this one in a while, so I decided to read the comments. I'm rather flabbergasted at all the comments regarding rape. Are you kidding me? As a veteran yaoi reader and watcher, I have to say that most yaoi contains rape. I think the only ones I've read that hasn't so far is, Yellow. I'm not saying there is an absence of yaoi without it. It's just a fact that can't be overlooked.
