ha-ri was originally portrayed as a psycho woman that had an unhealthy obsession over one of the main characters, ha-jin. she is portrayed (partially) as an antagonist/competition with si-yeon for ha-jin, but is seen in a bad light. she was willing to tie ha-jin down and inject him with drugs just to "own" him. i can accept that si-yeon died, but i can't accept the fact that ha-ri ended up becoming his lover. it's very unsatisfying to have this type of ending, especially when ha-jin dates one of the people that had raped him in the past, even after so many rejections.

    The point of Caste Heaven IS miserable endings. This comic never really...felt like it was aiming for that sort of end. That's why people are unsatisfied and upset.

    I don't agree with that. It had murders and cheating right off the bat. Then a gang rape scene. It was pretty miserable for most of it to me.
