Bum is conditioned to be like this. He was abused sexually and physically by his Uncle and his Aunt just chose to pretend like nothing was going on. He's been in love with Sangwoo for a long time and built a fantasy in his head of how he imagined Sangwoo to be. As we see Sangwoo also has abuse in his home. It has been hinted to throughout the story about how his Mother treated him. Mentally Sangwoo is a dangerous and smart killer. He feels no remorse for his victims at all. He only doesn't let Bum bleed out on the floor because he doesn't want to be alone. Sangwoo is most definitely mentally disturbed but in a most dangerous and scary way because he looks so normal for the most part and is attractive so people don't look deeper they just look at the facade. Sorry for the long diatribe but this story is not about sex or love but about violence and abuse but nevertheless it is a fabulous story!!!!!
