It doesn't matter if you use phone or laptops if you have access to internet connection then you can compress just about any image, I just compressed my 2.24mb image to 515kb using this site.

How? ? I use it and the pic didn't show it because just Black!!

I think it's better if you download a free app on your phone like Gimp or PicsArt to compress your image, it will definately work.

I also have an android phone, check out google play for some photo compression apps, try the app Photo compression 2.0.
