I'm pretty sure my first manga was One Piece back in middle school (for a time frame of reference I just graduated college). I borrowed my friends. The first one I ever bought was literally a random one I pulled off the shelf at The book shelf. I think it was called DN Angel or something.

I was about around 13 at the time. I had been watching anime for a while and got curious about manga. If I am remembering it correctly, my first manga was called "Cherry Boy, That Girl"

I was in fourth grade and my older sister was borrowing a manga series from her friend and she let me read them when she was finished. I think it was called Ceres Celestial Legend.

Not totally sure about first manga, but my first anime was Inuyashi when I was 5 or 6. Then I forgot about it till sixth grade when I rediscovered anime by searching for "show with man in red suit and dog ears". (BTW I tried this again and suit had to be changed to kimono to even get two pictures of Inuyasha to show up).

When i was 11 or so and the first manga i ever read was a shoujo manga. It's name was kaichou wa maid sama.

I was 15, crazy about Twilight stuff and when I saw Rosario+Vampire at the library, I decided to read (I didn't even know it's from right to left and some parts didn't make sense till I noticed) LOL

I grew up with siblings who read manga so I don't remember specific manga that I could've read for the first time. I know that I really liked Yu-Gi-Oh and Slam Dunk back then.

my sister made me read Naruto when i was really little. the first one i bought was at a local con for like 5$ for two, it was loveless and some other weird manga i cant remember.
ones that i actually picked that were my favorite were probably bakuman because i reaaaaaaaaallllllllly wanted to be a manga artist growing up, i thought it was a cute story but the straight was too strong, and the two guys working together was cute and all but... i liked the girl better. i got into no.6 after that then it lead to my obsession with fiction and queer romance. what was yours birb?
