I'm seriously struggling to continue reading this, its wrecking my emotions, the last page of chapter 19 killed me. Simon's sleeping innocent crying face after he's overdosed was just too much, all I kept wanting was for Conor to be there and hug him after he'd witnessed something so traumatic. whaaaaaaaa I cried.
I know what you mean. Right now I'm laying off reading (I'm at ch. 32) and waiting for more chapters because of the feels (they get stronger the more you read too)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who is struggling. The story is really good though, I like how it challenges racism and homophobia in a way I've never read before, it makes you fall in love with the characters which I think is why it's so sad when these things happen to them
