Lets say you sign a contract that says you are paid every month for one project that is to completed monthly. You cant deliver, therefore you force delays upon delays unto others who depend on the work you completed. There are scanners, editors, proof readers, etc whose job depends on you finishing your work. You are already paid for the work you are going to do, and the publishers depends on you to fulfill that promise.
What does it mean for the people that pays for your delivery, the people whose job depends on you finishing yours, and the fans of the original author? If you are coming up with your own story boards, then thats somewhat acceptable(not really), since sometimes it is hard to come up with a plot. Why are you incapable of doing a monthly job when other professional mangaka are capable of doing so weekly?
Seriously..., work ethic seems to be a lost cause these days... ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
actually they don't get paid until they delivered the work. They are, most of the time, underpaid and overworked, one person has to do everything. Only really popular magaka has their own team otherwise they rely on themselves or the help of their friends/family to help them do everything. Most mangaka can't even make a living, they have to work multiple jobs and this is not their main job.
On another break until... October 25....
As far as I know, the LN has been published until vol. 9 0r 10 (at least, I have seen most of the vol. covers up to that pt), so what exactly is this illustrator doing???
