Animated Anime...NOT???

There is but it's only two episodes if I remember correctly and it's only related to the begging of the series when they meet.

I saw it, but it's not animal - just some lips movements and that's it. I'm talking about real action...yaoi ahoy!!! ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

*g* Don't worry about it, Yuki-San, your "animal" anime was so adorable and just put a huge smile on my face. And after all, it's probably fair to say that Asami can be a bit of an animal in the bedroom at times. :)

I would say it's because more hardcore BL tends to get left off the table as far as animated series, but then again Ikoku Irokoi Romantan, another of sensei's works (which she's rumored to be continuing YAY), got a 2 part OVA that was pretty well animated.

There's often a lot of discrepancy when comes to BL series on network television in Japan. Despite how insanely popular the genre is, it's one that still is more discretely and quietly appreciated in bookstores. While now 3 seasons long, Junjou Romantica airs LATE at night in Japan, even with the sex scenes really sugarcoated.

All that said, as classic as Finder is, I'd love it to get an actual series. I just don't see it happening tbh because of all the sexual content. :(

The OVA just adds color and the illusion of animation to the actual drawings. Real animation would all be new drawings based on sensei's style but would be drawn by someone else. Sensei would not approve an animation because she could not control the art.

I totally understand. Still, they could do something like Jounjou and sugarcoat it like you mentioned. Both are great series with all the comedy and mafia thrills, it'd be something interesting to watch and also how each loving relationship develops. I just want more lovey-dovey from all these guys! (づ￣ ³￣)づ(≧∀≦)
