Don't be. You don't have to go there with your face, just ask them on tumblr. Most of them will be really really happy. I was also really worried before i asked a translating group. If you have the ability and the will , only that's matter :)
When most people see glowsticks & lightsabers, they think of nightclubs & Star Wars. When fujoshi & fudanshi see glowsticks & lightsabers, they think of erotic censorship.
