People who are thinking like that are idiots. You have to be a self-centered idiot to think that awkward people act akward because they want to bother you or your surrounding like wtf?? Nobody acts awkward on purpose.

That's not true at all.
There are some people out there who purposefully act in certain ways, usually as if they are awkward or not good with social cues or events. They use that as a cover to get away with doing things they know is wrong such as sexual harassment, invading your space, getting too touchy with you, and so on.
So yes, while a good portion of people who are genuinely awkward are just that, there are also many who are not.
It's not fair for the former to be treated badly but the latter has made it so the negative association of "awkward people are just acting like that to make people uncomfortable" stick and it sucks.
