I know it's not manga, but try V For Vendetta (the original comics). It's the fucking best.

You can also watch Texhnolyze and Ergo Proxy.

I've seen the movie for V for Vendetta, but havent read the comics. I've seen Ergo Proxy, which I really liked!! But not Texhnolyze. I'll give them a shot, thanks!
