There are a lot of similarities but some of the finer details are different and this can lead to some inconsistency once you start reading the manga (especially toward where the show ends). If you want to start somewhere to catch up reading while still keeping the consistency I would start around chapter 37/38.

So i watched the anime, does the anime follow the manga or is it different?
I really want to know what happens next but since there are so many chapters I am thinking about skipping the ones that resemble what I saw in the anime, unless someone can tell me it's different...
