I don't like it either. Especially when it starts off violently and later it becomes fluff and all happy and healthy as if the beginning never happened. And then it's like I'd give the manga a 10/10 and would love it if it just didn't have that awful beginning. Erase that and put something else and I would love it. It makes me so sad.
on the controlling part, mangakas had japanese men as their reference tho. it translates from that. i don't have problems when it comes to reading porn. i have a separate appetite for that. if it's just a smut manga.
