The only thing I'm confused about is why Kazuaki is so pissed just because Misa is shorter than he thought he was going to be...? I mean height is not something someone can control, so he just looks pissy to me, right now. But, in either case, that's usually something that gets explained in later chapters. And I'm at least patient so I can wait.

I think it's not that he is pissed JUST because Misa-chan is shorter than him. It's like.... they have not seen each other for quite a time.

In his heart, Misa-chan is this cool and amazing leader. It's hero-worship.

So, as grew older, he idolizes Misa-chan and worked hard to catch up to him. He got this glorified version of grown-up Misaki in his head. But when finally meet, reality is very different from his imagination.. So, he was disappointed(?) or something like that.. Because he expected too much.

It's how you got disappointed when you learned that your TV Idol is actually not that pretty or not as kind in real life.

Except that I was more just using his height as a hyperbolic representation of all of the things that Misa couldn't control that were the only things that seemed to piss Kazuaki off. Someone not being as kind as you thought they would be is something that's under the other person's control, after all.
