I really like how his eyes (or usually just the one eye haha) are drawn, I love that kinda bored, kinda passionate look. I like those masks he wears too ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

You should read some Harada, if you haven't done so already! Harada draws a lot of those sort of eyes. I tink especially in her Gintama dj's (=・ω・=)

If you search for Harada on here you should get lots of results! (Warning, her work is known for being very twisted, though there are some exceptions. In case you don't like that kind of thing.)
