What is the fascination with bandaids and bandages in manga? So many characters running around with bandaids on their faces or wrapped in white bandages?

Nah, that is just hateful ignorance, an unfortunate learned behavior. They only THINK they are being rebels, but, sadly, they are just showing how infantile and egregious they are.
