I had a self-to-self argument about this; I mean, being yourself is indeed good, but
A lot of people want to change themselves in order to fit in.
I don't get stuff anymore. Should you change yourself; like dieting and wearing cooler clothes and make up instead of just whining and self pitying yourself on being lonely and boring in appearance; or should you stay "you" even if it means being rejected by society and the like?
Of course I chose to be myself, but I want to think of what the rest of the world may think.
One may argue that some people change for themselves or change because they have to, but what about "you"? What part of that changed you is "you"? The desire? The choice?

I think you should change for yourself, not others. I mean, I started applying makeup a year ago because it made me feel better about myself, not because my mom annoyed me about it for several years. It's about letting go of your comfort zone and allowing yourself to experience new things.

I always hated any kind of change, be it online friends going offline forever too my phone getting stolen. I never was ready to face change. It always felt like the world was just running off ahead, when I'm just dead last. I'm just simply scared of change in myself or around the surroundings. I know we should keep moving forward, but it feels a bit lonely. Anyways, why tf am I replying to an comment almost 4 hour ago and that too, anonymous.
