i don' think that'd be that realistic. Crushes are hard and admitting that you like them is even harder. my bestfriend's boyfriend of 4 years had liked her for 2 years before he finally told her and got together.
I guess that in a lot of manga (especially in BL smh), it usually goes really fast, to the point where they fuvk in like 2 chapters.
i kinda like the slow pacing and the fact that we can learn about characters a bit more before al that juicy romance starts.ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
