In the beginning We actually see Xixi as a college student.
One day his childhood friend Jian Yi reappear after disappearing on him for three/four years (during their high school year)
Jian Yi claims that he was kidnap by his dad on the first day of high school and was only able to recently escape (not sure if that part was something he just made up at the spot or it actually happen but It definitely has to be related to his father)
then they had a flashback of them in middle school where we are seeing the depth of their friendship and what led up to Jian Yi's disappearance. Note: Jian Yi did get kidnap one already but it was only for a couple days not years yet so we are still in the flashback to learn why he disappear.
wait when did the flashback start? i was under the idea that these was all happening.
So jian yi never went to highschool and came back while xian xi was in college? So all that's happening now is while they're in middle school?? Also if this is true do you reckon we'll see up to the point he leaves so we can understand why he left? If that's right I hope we're eventually shown what happened to jian yi the years he was gone
Chapter 50.
Somewhere in chapters 1-50 it says Jian disappears on the 2nd day of HS. He returns when Zhan is in university. In 161 we have Jian saying he wants to go to the same HS and University as Zhan and during the latest kidnapping he is only gone a few days not years. It doesn't add up. So either 51 onwards is a flashback or there was a reboot.

Ermmm is this the past or a flashback or what?? Can someone explain?? Cause I think so people on tumblr were talking about how this has all happened in the past which leads into him leaving for 3 years but I'm lost... I thought this was then present but I'm not sure anymore
