I know it’s been a while since you posted this comment but He didn’t really plagiarize..... he didn’t take one of her photos and paint it(and even then that doesn’t mean plagiarism unless he didn’t source her and ask her permission to use her photo or change it to make it more his, etc etc) He got inspiration from her blog and created a painting from the idea that it’s from the point of view from an animal. I think the problem is that he never had someone tell him it’s ok to get inspiration from other people’s art, he assumed that because he didn’t come up with the idea all by himself he stole it from her and that he isn’t allowed to do art.
He is so full of shit! If the guy Outa really wanted to apologize he would go to the organisation that put on the competition and tell that he plagiarized her work. Then they could give the award to another artist or give her credit. Just because he gives her money of buys he sneakers doesn't mean he's really making up for what he did.
