From what I can tell is, the past Jae-ha wanted to meet adult Yeon-Ho in HIS present time. Meaning to meet in Yeon-Ho's past, and was killed by a dumbfuck piece of driver who can't drive obviously.
THEN it's the present now, so Yeon-Ho goes to meet at their arranged time. And he saw the ADULT Jae-Ha that he saved in his past. And a shiet horrible driver truck driver hit him.
