I was thinking that too, when I read it. I was like... da fuq was that? I get that he might want to be sure of Hiroki's feelings, but those kinds of tests only cause trust issues.
Was that the seme's doing or did the uncle act on his own and the seme happened to be there at the same time? I thought it was all the uncle because he was already distrustful of Hiroki and told him to move out. And the uncle was all, I was trying to show you the type of person this guy is, but I was off target.
Either way, I did not like the uncle, he should learn to not stick his nose in other peoples relationships
The seme didn't do that. It's actually the uncle who believed the uke was playing with him/trying to get his money, so he set the uke in a trap where he tried to make the uke saying what he was thinking (that the uke's after the money) and call the seme there to witness it (seme didn't know anything about the plan I think, he's more of the type who would like to ask everything himself first). However, the uke's answer was not like the uncle expected, and seme was happy!

The thing is as we could see the uncle was very persistent so I'm sure Naoya declined his idea but the uncle persuaded him and he had no choice, I mean he IS close with his uncle. So what about looking at other possibilities before jumping into conclusions and putting all the blame on Naoya?
Personally, I would have been a little ticked off at the seme for testing my feelings like that, if I were the uke. Sure, when I calmed down and after he apologized, I'd probably understand and forgive him. But at that time I would have either told him off or walked out without a word and slept at a hotel or something.
